At VSOS, we stand by the strength of our surgical outcomes, confidence in every step. For every TPLO procedure performed in-hospital at VSOS, we offer a 12-month surgical guarantee. Should a complication arise within this period, we will cover all associated professional fees, including consultations, anaesthesia, and revision surgery at no additional cost, provided your pet remains in good health and post-operative care instructions have been followed.

Please note: This guarantee applies exclusively to surgeries performed at our main VSOS hospital and does not extend to mobile TPLO procedures conducted at partner clinics.

The procedure is performed by an experienced team including specialist surgeons, surgical residents, and specialist anaesthetists. Advanced anaesthesia and hospital-grade pain management, similar to what is provided to people undergoing orthopaedic surgery, are used to ensure your pet’s comfort throughout the procedure and recovery. X-rays are also taken immediately after surgery to confirm that implants are positioned correctly.

Following surgery, your pet will recover in the hospital under the close supervision of our veterinary and nursing teams, where they receive attentive monitoring, pain management, and supportive care to ensure a smooth recovery.

Your pet will go home with all necessary medications and detailed home care instructions, along with a scheduled follow-up with our surgical team.

Importantly, your pet’s care also includes post-operative X-rays at 6–8 weeks (if required) to assess healing, as well as our Surgery Guarantee, the first of its kind in Australia, providing additional reassurance and confidence in the quality of care we deliver.

Includes: Initial specialist surgical consultation; pre/post-op X-rays; patellar luxation corrective surgery under GA; 1 night in hospital; routine medications.

A pre-operative CT scan and consultation bundle is available for approximately $2,500.

Typically an uncomplicated fracture repair with no overnight hospital stay required.

Severely comminuted or difficult fractures (e.g. comminuted humerus T-Y fractures). Includes CT if required (radiologist report additional).

Removal of a bone plate and screws under general anaesthesia.

Placement of SUB devices to bypass ureters in cases of obstruction.

SUB Flush (Maintenance Flush with Medication) – $950
Routine flushing of an existing SUB device, including necessary medications.

Ultrasound exam and interpretation of the abdominal organs by our specialist team. 

Includes: general anesthesia and monitoring for the CT scan option, as with MRI.
