Anne is a European board-certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist (Dipl. ECVO) who completed her specialist training at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, Germany.

During her residency, she managed a diverse referral caseload while actively lecturing and teaching final-year veterinary students. Her primary research focused on alternative treatment strategies for ocular surface disease. She has worked in multidisciplinary referral settings, collaborating closely with specialists across disciplines to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for complex ophthalmic cases. Anne is known for her approachable communication style and her commitment to ensuring clients feel informed and supported throughout their pet’s treatment.

Her clinical interests include both medical and surgical ophthalmology, including corneal and cataract surgery, adnexal and eyelid procedures, and advanced ocular diagnostic imaging. She is strongly committed to responsible antimicrobial stewardship, minimising prophylactic antibiotic use whenever possible. Passionate about education, Anne delivers continuing education lectures and practical training for veterinarians, nurses, and students, with the goal of making ophthalmology accessible and improving first-line care of ophthalmic diseases.
