VSOS Specialists

Work with the best

When you join the VSOS team, you will be working with some of the most experienced vets in Australia with an unmatched level of expertise in their fields.

VSOS’s founder, Dr Andrew Levien, has a passion for orthopaedics.

He is one of a select few to have completed a three-year surgical residency at the Animal Medical Center (AMC) in Manhattan, learning from the surgeons who invented the revolutionary hip replacement system used in vet hospitals around the world today.

Dr Levien is also highly skilled in soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics and neurosurgery

Dr Graham is one of few vets in Australia offering laser-assisted turbinectomies (LATE) to treat brachycephalic breeds (squashed nose dogs) and cystoscopic-assisted laser ablation (CLA) of ectopic ureters for urinary incontinence.

These laser-assisted techniques make surgery less invasive, shorter and often safer. Karina uses the latest in interventional radiology to diagnose other internal disease, as well as treat cancer, urinary tract problems and respiratory conditions.

“VSOS’s new animal hospital has a dedicated interventional radiology department. That way we don’t have barriers to continue to pave the way for new cutting-edge techniques.”

Dr Nina Lorenz is a well-renowned surgeon with a particular passion for spinal surgery.

Technologically advanced treatment centre

VSOS’s brand-new animal hospital is now open. Our advanced treatment centre is unlike any other animal hospital in the Sydney area.

Not only is it home to some of Australia’s most experienced veterinary specialists, it is equipped with state-of-the-art CT scanners, MRI and X-ray machines… all located under one roof.

We have purposefully designed our world-class animal hospital so every patient can be seen clearly from the central hub, the flow and space is luxurious and there is exceptional diagnostic imaging ability. We want our team to love coming to work!

This is exactly where I’m meant to be. I still love going to work every day because there’s nothing like the feeling you get when you help a sick patient get better.” Dr Graham

“Our number-one priority is taking care of the patient. And more than this, we give that extra level of care to make their lives better. We’re never complacent when it comes to caring for our animals.” Dr Karina Graham

“It’s all about the animals and giving them great outcomes.” Dr Andrew Levien
