Tabitha has spent her entire life in and around veterinary hospitals as her mother is a Veterinary Technician in America. She started her career early as a kennel assistant in Oregon, USA at the age of 16. She quickly progressed to working in as a technician assistant and receptionist. Tabitha began her career in surgery in 2007 in Clackamas, Oregon at VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists. She discovered a passion for working in surgery and achieved her (CVT) license, in Oregon in 2010. She has since then expanded her knowledge working in Hawaii, Los Angeles, and the Washington DC area. Tabitha is working towards getting her VTS (veterinary technician specialty) in anaesthesia and surgery.
Tabitha grew up in Oregon on 5 acres with many different animals including: dogs, cats, horses, miniature horses, pigs, goats, sheep, snakes and birds. She spent most of her childhood training these pets and participating in 4-H, AKC, OHSET, High School Rodeo and AMHA. Her most recent accomplishment was showing her Border Collie “Clyde” to his AKC championship. Aside from her passion for surgery Tabitha enjoys traveling, dancing, dog shows, agility, hiking, cars, baking and cuddling with her rescue kitten "Paul."
Nicole started working as a Veterinary Nurse in 1998, after completing her Advanced Certificate in VN. She has worked in numerous general and referral hospitals throughout Sydney and also in the United Kingdom. Nicole loved to travel before kids, but now spends her days chasing after her 3 ridiculously energetic boys!
*Surgical Nurse, AVNAT - RVN
Tamara started work as a Veterniary Nurse in 2013. She completed her Certificate IV in Veterniary Nursing in 2015. While working for a general practice for 5 years, she found her passion in surgery. Tamara is now in the middle of completing her Diploma of Surgical Nursing.
*Sterile Processing Supervisor
Amelia has always wanted to work with animals since she was 4 years old. She grew up having multiple animals such as, cats, dogs, frogs and horses. After gaining some experience in local shelters and hospitals, She spent 3 years at Taronga Zoo where she studied Captive Animals but also got her first taste in Vet Nursing by gaining experience in the Taronga Wildlife Hospital. Amelia has her Certificate III in Captive Animals, and is currently Studying Vet Nursing certificate IV . Amelia Loves spending time with her new Husky dog Maya, her 2 cheeky cats Peaches and Whiskey, and her Turtle Squirt.
